SOUNDS Academy Hosts their Annual Speakeasy Fundraising Event
The Event: SOUNDS Speakeasy – 20’s Masquerade Theme
The Cause: Fundraiser to help spread music education opportunities to Arizona youth

Notable Moments: The evening provided perfect weather in the heart of downtown Phoenix as guests came together to support spreading music education opportunities to children in Phoenix, AZ at the Historic Ellis-Shackelford House. The main program featured two SOUNDS Academy students. Callie expressed what her experience has been like while in SOUNDS Academy and Israel mesmerized the audience with his cello performance. Founder and CEO, Kirk Johnson closed the evening with stories about how SOUNDS Academy has impacted children in Phoenix over the last 7 years by helping students set and accomplish their dreams. By the end of the evening, SOUNDS Academy supporters were able to raise over $23,000 to support music education.
