Sound Bytes is an introductory training program exclusive to SOUNDS Academy. Within this ten week program, students learn the fundamentals of music while singing, playing percussive instruments and the recorder. Students explore music movement, rhythmic development, solfege (do, re, mi), note reading, tone , dynamics, and instrumental families of the orchestra. Classes are weekly and students in grades 1-3 are eligible for this program.
SOUNDS Academy provides the Sound Bytes Program as an After School class to Title I schools. Students perform at the end of each semester.
