Teaching Artist (Piano)
Mrs. Knighton has been a piano instructor for 24 years through her studio – Knighton Music Studio (Michigan and Arizona, west valley) and Milford Music (Michigan). She moved down to Arizona to teach elementary music 12 years ago, and she currently is a K – 4 music teacher in the Peoria Unified School District. Mrs. Knighton earned her Bachelors of Music degree at Madonna University in Livonia, Michigan where she studied piano, organ, and voice, along with her music education classes. She enjoys working one on one with her students and looking forward to work with the piano students of Sounds Academy.
