Masterclass: The Art of Practicing

On March 7th, 2015 Principal Cellist Peter Anderegg (cello), Tessa Gotman (violin), and Christopher McKay (viola) of the Phoenix Symphony will lead a masterclass featuring the students of SOUNDS Academy. Ms. Capulla, Mr. Muñoz, Ms. Kowalski, and Ms. Calvino will play works by Hoffmeister, Lully, Squire, and Weber. The students will travel to Symphony Hall to play solos for an audience which will include members of the orchestra, SOUNDS Academy, parents, and supporters. After completing their performance, various orchestra members will share a practice technique that they  use to improve their playing.
